Recently, the Doctorate Program, Management of Science, STIESIA Surabaya had just held the Dissertation Final Examination on Tuesday, September 13 2022 at Borneo room, second floor- Postgraduate building. This examination aimed to prove the study’s result by promovendus Gatot Subroto (17.3.02.16.0250). This dissertation examination was led by Prof. Dr. Budiyanto, M.S., promoted by Dr. Suwitho, M.Si, and co-promoted by Prof. Dr. Widodo, S.E., M.Si. (Faculty of Economy – University of Islam Sultan Agung) . Moreover, the examiner team was namely Dr. Ikhsan Budi Riharjo, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., Dr. Khuzaini, M.M., dan Dr. Suhermin, S.E., M.M.
Furthermore, the study’s title was “The Effect of Safety Leadership Behavior on Safety Culture and Safety Behavior also Its Implications on Safety Performance”. In addition, from the findings, the conclusion was as follows:
* Leadership behavior in work safety could not directly affect companies’ safety performance. However, the behavior had to be able to create a safety culture in the companies. Besides, safety also had to be able to create employees’ safety behavior. This kind of behavior would be able to create either employee or company safety performance.
During Gatot Subroto’ best effort in getting his Doctorate title, Management of Science, STIESIA Surabaya for 5 years which showed professionalism in explaining and answering every sentence that was given by the promotor,co-promotor, and examiner; he finally got the best result. In addition, Gatot Subroto was the 100th graduate with a GPA of 3.50 and had a predicate of very satisfying.
