Thursday, September 8 2022 STIESIA Surabaya held a promotional event to have new students register. The event was titled Campus Tour for new students. It was located at Hall 2, STIESIA Surabaya. SMA Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya and SMKN 1 Surabaya were the participants in this Campus Tour. There was a total of 100 students in the third grade of Senior High School with 1 companion teacher. Besides having students register, the event aimed to determine the students to prepare to study at the university. Moreover, there were 3 talks focused on the study programs within STIESIA Surabaya. Dr. Suwitho, M. Si as the representative of the Management study program, and Dr. Dewi Urip W, S.Pd., M.Pd., SE., MM as the representative of the Diploma 3 study program explained everything about STIESIA study programs. This event ran well and was followed by many students. The students were actively asking some questions about S1 of the Management, Accounting, and Diploma 3 study program.
After then, six groups of Senior High School students and accompanied by a student of STIESIA were ready to have a campus tour. They started their tour from the iconic symbol of STIESIA, i.e. Globe of STIESIA. Next, move to some courts which were used as sports facilities. Furthermore, they continued their tour to laboratories, the library, and the new students’ registration corner-a place where they should know and remember when they do registration. Having finished their tour, all students gathered in Hall 2 to have their lunch. During of it, UKM Choir presented some acoustic music which was played by 4 students of STIESIA Surabaya. Consequently, the event was more exciting; especially when some Senior High School students joined to play some songs.
